Bio
I am a small-business owner and a freelance writer
I spent four years of my professional life in the high tech industry working on self-driving vehicles. But slowly, I realized that there is more value to be derived outside of the profit-minded tech world.
In 2022, I began writing and publishing essays on my experiences working in tech, start-ups, and dealing with capitalism in general.
After a career-chocking layoff hit me in 2023, I decided to quit the tech world once and for all and go in search of meaningful work that can help the planet and the people of the 99%.
What I focus on now
Writing
My newsletter, Fourth Waver in Tech, is a critical cultural study of the tech industry. This publication exposes the reality behind some of the tech that underpins our modern lives.
My essays have also appeared in well-known magazines like the Smart Set, India Currents, The Fair Observer, etc.
Sustainable Business
The sustainable here is not a buzzword, I promise.
In my newest venture, Artful Stationery Co., I seek to build a local, community-focused, circular economy-aimed stationery and design business.
My first start-up, thedoctress.org, was a virtual telehealth platform that connected everyday women with OB/GYNs.
Womxn Talking
A community building project aimed at connecting and supporting women. I organize monthly meetings in which women can speak up about work-caused issues and arrive at solutions as a group.
